HP SimpliVity 2600 on Apollo Gen10 server hardware:
- Choice of Intel Xeon Scalable (Skylake) Silver and Gold processors (2x per node), 12 to 22 cores selectable.
- Single socket option or dual socket option with less cores (8 or 10) for ROBO deployments only.
Although HPE does support 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable (Cascade Lake) processors in its ProLiant server line-up as of April 2019, HPE SimpliVity nodes do not yet ship with 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable (Cascade Lake) processors.
