Details
Citrix released XenServer version 7.1 (code-name “Ely”) in February 2017, this major release added support for:

-PVS-Accelerator – improves virtual desktop performance and scale – further evidence that Citrix’s “Better Together” concept is firing on all cylinders!
-streamlined approach to installing product updates
-Automated Updates from within XenCenter, enabling multiple pools to be updated with a single click, including an industry first of zero-downtime live-patching for kernel and xen updates - meaning no reboots for most hotfixes
- Support for Nutanix, enabling customers to use Xenserver as the management platform hypervisor and benefit from:
NVIDIA vgpu
XenServer Hypervisor Introspection (Direct Inspect API)
IO drivers via Windows Update
Health Check
Live patching
-long-term support release (LTSR) that further that underlines Citrix’s long-term commitment to our XenServer customers
-Enhanced Conversion Manager, enabling workloads to be bulk moved from VMware ESXi/vCenter to XenServer including Linux guests
