Summary
Third-party plug-in framework - e.g. NetApp Virtual Console
Details
There is no specific storage API (similar to e.g. VMwares VAAI / VASA) in RHV that utilizes array specific capabilities for virtualization purposes (e.g. offload, storage classification etc.). However RHVs REST API does allow storage specific calls. The APIs are continually being enhanced in the community.

RHV 3.2 introduced a plug-in framework (maintained with 3.5). This enables third parties to integrate new features and actions directly into the RHV Manager user interface. New menu items, panes, and dialog boxes allow users to access the new functionality the same way they use Red Hat Virtualizations native functionality. One example is the NetApp Virtual Storage Console (VSC). VSC provides integrated virtual storage management, including rapid domain provisioning and cloning of hundreds of virtual machines, while enabling Red Hat administrators to access and execute all of these capabilities using the standard RHV management interface.

RHV 3.3 introduced a Backup API can also be leveraged with array cloning & replication for DR.
